Well - after the cruise....life doesn't seem to be very exciting at the moment. Experienced the vacation let down....but now I am back on the upswing.
Today we put Kayla in the jeep and cruised up to Lake Ray Roberts to check out the camping and beach situation. Had to pay $5 to get into the State Park - NOT - so we didn't get to see the park...but it looks really nice. Also checked out the marina and had discussions of what type of boat we would get. Finally settled on a small houseboat - that way we can go out into the lake, fish, swim, cook, spend the night, get out of the sun, etc. Plus - a great way to take people out with us! Hmmm..........just dreaming.
I have volunteered to lead our Sunday School class on a study of the Holy Spirit. Have a wonderful book to use that was originally recommended by my brother John - "The Helper" by Catherine Marshall. Also - I have volunteered to man the church phones on Friday mornings. So, I am little by little starting to get more involved at the church.
House still on the market in Columbia......
